Random Pictures from Canada #travel #sightseeing

Our first day we went walking in Bowmanville, my hometown and saw the old mill. Here are some different angles of the mill, which is now a shopping area.

Some views of the town…I remember it used to seem massive when I was a child!

I used to think this was a huge hill! DSCN0822 (2)

Here is a shot of Lake Ontario in Newcastle. #nofilter

Finally I made a collage to commemorate the trip in my scrapbooking album.

I used boarding passes, train tickets, serviettes, packaging of things I bought and added the phrases me and my family were laughing about during the trip! Great memories!

Chinue, the cat was happy to see me come back! Here she is checking out my page! I think she approves!

Happy Travelling! xoxo!

Working on my Vision-board… 2018

Tinybuddha.com says it best! This is my inspiration for 2018.

I’m a bit behind working on my vision board for the year, but I have collected some images that sum up how I want the year to go. Mainly travel, since I’m not really into collecting things, I’d prefer memories by far!

I’ll share how it turns out once it’s finished!

What are your goals and dreams for 2018? Let’s make it the best year ever!

Happy adventuring! xoxo!

Small Haul from Canada and Portugal #travel #shopping

Shopping in Canada… Paradise!

I didn’t get to go often, but here is my loot! I got myself a Sephora Collection Make No Mistake Foundation Conceiler Stick! It is perfect and gives me almost full coverage, depending on how I apply it! I can even use it as a conceiler around my eyes!

Rainforest of the Sea Drops  were on my wishlist since forever! I remember seeing them on Instagram! Let me tell you… they are as awesome as they appear! I can use them as a moisturising layer on top of my makeup or just as a gentle highlighter! It is very liquid though, so be careful opening and using it so it doesn’t spill! I’d die if it fell over! #calamity lol

Those were my “luxury” purchases! It got a bit more reasonable after that! lol

Bath and Body Works was a must! I went in to pick up a present for my mum and ended up with these lovely candles for myself! They are small, but the smell spreads throughout the apartment!

I also picked up this LUSH bathbomb. It was about 7.00$. Just don’t ask me which flavour it was, all I know is that it smells amazing and I haven’t even tried it yet! I will defile the bathtub asap!

I’ve always wanted to learn Calligraphy so when I found this set for 20.00$ I had to have it! It comes with the pens, ink and a practice book! Loves it!

I picked up these two books to satisfy my inner nerd! The Mammoth Book of the Mafia I got at the airport in Portugal so I didn’t get to take a good picture!

In Lisbon airport I picked up these stickers for 2.00$ at the Accessorize Store! I’ll use them to mark any pet-related activities in my Happy Planner! Too cute!

Finally I couldn’t resist these cute sparkly headphones! However they don’t really sit well in my ears and keep falling out! What a pitty! Or maybe I just need bigger ears? Lol

That’s it for my Small Haul from my trip! I hope you enjoyed it!

Happy Shopping! xoxo!

Twilight in Toronto #travel

Our one day in Toronto we walked around after leaving Union Station and just walked without a plan! There is so much to see so it didn’t really matter which way we walked!

Of course we had to take a look at the CN-Tower! The #bucketlist item here will be to return and have dinner at the restaurant on top of the tower! I’ve had lunch and it was amazing!

City life around the Rogers Center! For me it will forever be the Sky Dome!

I love seeing the lights coming on while the sun sets over the city! So many beautiful buildings!

My partner loved the name of this restaurant so I had to take a picture as a memory! In the process a random guy in the street thought I was taking his picture and totally freaked out… dude, I just wanted a picture of the sign! Calm down! lol #calamity

There’s nothing like city lights! Loves it!

Saks Fifth Avenue had the most amazing holiday display in their windows! A fashionable scene from a fairy-tale!

I can’t wait to go back!

Happy travelling! xoxo!

Holiday Decor Everywhere!

Food from heaven! If you are in Canada don’t miss out on the Snowflake Donut at Tim Hortons! It is amazing!

As it is the holiday season, there were decorations up all over Toronto. So I’ll share them with you since there isn’t much of a holiday vibe here in Spain.

Here is the Santa Castle in the Pickering Town Centre! If I had one wish I’d be back there right now! I hope Santa is listening! And a random sparkling deer!

The downtown area in Toronto was also full of lights and decorations! So beautiful!

Holiday vibes all over!

The Eatons Centre was the most impressive with a massive light up tree in the centre of the mall!

Loves it! It was so tall I couldn’t even get the top part in the shot!

It also had this cool deer halfway down the mall!

Canadian Tire has the best holiday decorations! I am always so inspired when I see their displays!

What a mood!

Check out these gorgeous baubles! All you need for a tree!

Finally I found the tree section! My next tree will be colourful and pre-lit! The blue one is my favourite so far!

Hope you’re having a great holiday season! I’ll slowly catch up on the trip pictures and throw in a few hauls as well!

Keep warm and happy holidays! xoxo!

Random Cyber Finds & Inspiration for 2018!

Chalk drawing!

Winter is here! Even in Spain! It’s gone down to 1 degree in the morning when I’ve taken Bob the Yorkie out! Freezing! So here is a collection of random cyber-finds and the links to their sites that have cheered me up and give me hope that 2018 will be a good year with less #calamity!

Since it’s been so cold I’ve been in the mood for some hearty food! Like this Vegan recipe! Looks delicious, so I’ll leave the link right here… Vegan Potato Mushroom Cakes My goal for 2018 is to become more vegan rather than less! I’m already vegetarian so it’s not a far stretch!

I’ve also been seeing white as a nail polish colour for the winter! Looks so glam! Whether the nail-polish advertised in the picture is any good, I don’t know! I just like the look! Snow by Hype Vegan Nailpolish

19 Flirty Blonde Hair Colors

I also see that blonde hair is finally coming back in fashion for 2018! So excited as I really enjoyed being a blonde years ago! I’ll be joining that trend asap! You can read the whole article linked above and get some blonde-inspiration!

Another cool trend I found is this awesome ultra violet colour that will be trending in 2018 and I can’t wait! I always love seeing which colour will be the colour of the year since it gives the whole thing an official theme! And this year it’s beautiful!

Pantone 2018 Color of the Year; Ultra Violet

Black Diamond Gold Engagement Ring Set 14K Rose Gold Flower Engagement Rings

Now this is stunning! I’m not asking for anything or hoping or wanting anything, besides a credit card to go shopping for myself! So boyfriend, you can chill out! I just love this ring and wanted to share it! Who knows, maybe someone will get lucky in 2018?

If only we still wore these glamorous outfits… #swoon Balmain, 1953

I hope you’ve enjoyed my cyber finds and are having a great holiday season!

Keep warm! xoxo!
