All work and all things!

Weird manifestation story,,,

As you know, I do nothing but work lately, or you would have heard from me with fun stuff!

We’ll, last year I saw this reindeer decoration in someone’s yard, and Google-lense’d what it was. It was sold out at Home Depot, so nothing I could do.

This year I saw it again but it wasn’t possible at the time. I thought about it once in a while but didn’t put effort into getting it. We’ll, my crazy family went and got it for me!

Imagine the surprise! Just last week I posted it with the caption “someone get me this reindeer!” Today they told me it was bought a month ago! What?!?!?!

It is now on display in my living room until we decorate outside. What a beauty! 🥰

Shop till you drop! Life is short, get nice things! And Happy Manifesting and Adventuring!

Tiny shopping spree at Michaels and Home Sense!

Life is stressful! So since real fun is not an option I treated myself to some pretty things for scrapbooking and my home!

True love!

I couldn’t resist this beautiful candle holder at Home Sense and in total it was around $15.00 which is awesome considering how pretty it is! I love shiny home accessories that capture the light!

I love the little gems that hang freely from the candle holder! I think they are some kind of quartz, but I’m not sure.
These are from Dollarama!

I was given these fake candles that fit perfectly in the holder! They flash different colors and are a perfect fit! And there won’t be any wax to clean up either!

We also went by Michaels and picked up some supplies!

I picked up the Jungle Vibes stickers for my Classic Happy planner.
And the Rainbow Dreams one!

They were full price at about $12.00 each, but YOLO!

I also got the Bold Brushstrokes small cardstock for about $9.00. I love these for adding inspirational quotes to my planner or displaying them around my lady-cave!

It wasn’t much but I love the cheerful colors! Right now I need everything shiny and uplifting! How else to survive the global #calamity without going insane, right?

I hope you get some nice things to cheer you up too!

Happy Adventuring!

Xmas 2021… apparently…

Our tiny tree looking big!

I couldn’t tell you what day of the week it is, or what year, but I wasn’t the Grinch this year! I actually got into decorating outside and inside! It wasn’t anything major, but I had fun! 🎄🎁🎀

The baubles under the tree were originally meant for outside but then I realized they might fall and break. I totally like how they look under the tree! 🎄🎁🎀

Our hallway also got a touch of festive spirit! Cheap and cheerful!🎄🎁🎀

I also got to walk in the snow at this beautiful nature trail in Ajax, so I thought I’d share some pics for everyone stuck inside. 🎄🎁🎀

Hope you are enjoying the holidays to the best of your abilities! As in, have as much fun as possible! And don’t let the global #calamity get you down! 🎄🎁🎀

Happy holidays! and Happy Adventuring!🎄🎁🎀

Age 3 and up…

While I was surviving this new normal boring existence I went by Michaels and picked up a few things on sale to keep me entertained. This Halloween dream catcher kit was one of them.

Not sure I got it right…

It didn’t really have step by step instructions, just a whole heap of pieces and I guessed where most of them went from the picture on the front of the box.

It took me about 3 hours and I got glue all over myself until I got to the final product. Well, my version of it anyway.

Is it for 3 year olds? Maybe not. But it was the only time in months that my brain actually shut up for a second and allowed me to live in the moment without worrying. It accomplished something that not even an hour long massage could!

Here’s hoping the global #calamity wears off soon and we don’t need 5 different certificates to get on planes so we can adventure again.

Until then, keep busy, even if it’s with a craft that is for 3 years old and up. 🤣

Keep calm and Happy Adventuring!

Is it the season? 🎁 #spottedatmichaels

I am not sure what day it is but it seems that the end of this horrible year is in sight! Yes, there were some great moments but the majority was one huge #calamity ! 2020 was a write-off as far as adventure is concerned!

So I am actually very happy to see holiday decorations out in stores because it means we have gotten through to the end. Even if next year continues similarly due to Rona, the changing numbers give me fresh hope!

Holiday decorations are so shiny!

There is nothing like a countdown to a new beginning or a special event!

I need this calendar!

I sure hope the cheerfulness of the season seeps into my pores and gets me ready for a more hopeful and adventurous 2021!

Santa! Please bring hope and health!

Let’s hang in there and try and enjoy the holiday season to the best of our ability!

Happy adventuring, on the sofa!

Random spring-things!

It’s been raining non-stop and we can’t go anywhere due to the #calamity. (You know which one) I never thought I’d miss going for a coffee this much! I love staying home! But this tew much! 😆

When I was a child I thought I’d have to survive an attack from a giant anaconda or be careful not to fall into quicksand. Even a meteorite seemed to be a reasonable threat to my existence. I never thought I’d be afraid that a virus would kill me! This is what’s so weird about it!

On a positive note, I’ve still been able to walk dogs so that really helps! Yesterday I spotted some signs of spring on one of my walks by the lake in Ajax.

I was walking a dog so the angle is a bit weird but I didn’t want to make him wait for me!

My aunt also has a beautiful flower arrangement in her kitchen. I don’t know where she found all of these but I plan on recreating this when the apocalypse is over and I can go to shop!

So cheerful!

I hope you are all doing well and having a little fun during this crisis!

Happy Adventuring!

Yorkdale Window shopping and Vegan Carribean takeaway!

After all the bad weather we finally got out of the house and went to Yorkdale mall.

It’s a huge mall with mainly luxury brands! You can find most major designers there! And regular shops as well!

For me, luxury means a coffee at Starbucks and a small treat from Aldo…

After, we went to Wal-Mart in Scarborough for some tech supplies and also stopped by Pier 1. As I don’t have a house, all I could do was look…

I took some pictures of my favorite pieces!

Kinda makes me miss the beach!

Check out these Zen animals! I’d take one of each!

Pier 1 has the best home decor!

Dinner was a vegan version of rice and peas with mixed veggies from the Scarborough mall food court! I don’t remember the name of the restaurant, but it was delicious!

On the way out, we saw this cake shop where you can order special cakes! They decorate them beautifully!

I got this cute wallet from Aldos for 15$! It fits all my cards perfectly! Loves it! 💜

Hope you have a great weekend!

Happy Adventuring! 🍍🍸

Cozy Sunday Inspiration!

I should have been careful what I wished for! Today started off all nice and sunny and I hoped it’d rain so my patio would get a wash without me having to be personally involved! Well, there is a huge storm blowing outside and the patio has definitely gotten a good wash!

My babysitting-dog, Bob the Yorkie and I have barely left the sofa! And my cat cannot be found! She must be sleeping in her favourite spot in the closet!

To keep warm we’ve been drinking loads of coffee and cybering on Pinterest! There are some beautiful coffee corners! Mine, not so much… A cup each, sugar, coffee and some plain cookies if we remember to buy some! … #FAIL

I’ve saved some inspirational pics so I can better decorate my next home, which will hopefully have more space for a real coffee corner!

Cute Keurig Coffee Corner

I cannot wait to have a Keurig or a coffee machine with the cute and tasty pods!

Another idea I like is this Coffee Station

I even found the perfect picture to hang over the coffee corner! Apparently it’s a DIY!

Holiday Decor Everywhere!

Food from heaven! If you are in Canada don’t miss out on the Snowflake Donut at Tim Hortons! It is amazing!

As it is the holiday season, there were decorations up all over Toronto. So I’ll share them with you since there isn’t much of a holiday vibe here in Spain.

Here is the Santa Castle in the Pickering Town Centre! If I had one wish I’d be back there right now! I hope Santa is listening! And a random sparkling deer!

The downtown area in Toronto was also full of lights and decorations! So beautiful!

Holiday vibes all over!

The Eatons Centre was the most impressive with a massive light up tree in the centre of the mall!

DSCN0924

Loves it! It was so tall I couldn’t even get the top part in the shot!

It also had this cool deer halfway down the mall!

DSCN0925

Canadian Tire has the best holiday decorations! I am always so inspired when I see their displays!

DSCN0939

What a mood!

Check out these gorgeous baubles! All you need for a tree!

DSCN0938

Finally I found the tree section! My next tree will be colourful and pre-lit! The blue one is my favourite so far!

Hope you’re having a great holiday season! I’ll slowly catch up on the trip pictures and throw in a few hauls as well!

Keep warm and happy holidays! xoxo!
